World Cup results: The scores so far from Qatar 2022 Who has been eliminated from World Cup 2022 and who has qualified for the knockout stage?

LONDON — The next prime minister of Britain and leader of the Conservative Party is now guaranteed to be either from an ethnic minority or a woman. Or both.

Four candidates to replace Boris Johnson are still standing after three rounds of secret balloting by Conservative members of Parliament.

In the third round on Monday, Rishi Sunak, the former chancellor, led with 115 votes; followed by junior trade minister Penny Mordaunt with 82, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss with 71 and former equalities minister Kemi Badenoch with 58. Tom Tugendhat, the last white male in the contest, was knocked out. Three additional candidates — Attorney General Suella Braverman, Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi and lawmaker Jeremy Hunt — were eliminated last week.
