The Florida Department of Health on Wednesday reported 45 new cases of COVID-19 and three additional deaths in Collier County.

Collier County’s cumulative total of COVID-19 fatalities increased to 208, according to the state. The new cases increased Collier’s overall total to 12,565.

A total of 903 people in Collier County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 as of Wednesday, but that number does not reflect the people currently in the hospital, according to the Florida Department of Health. 

The Florida Department of Health is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
